Search Engine Optimization – An Introduction in Brief!

SEO signifies search engine optimization. It is a procedure used for strengthening the quality and quantity of any website by elevating its visibility on the web search engine for the users. Search engine optimization is also an improvement made without any purchase of paid placement. It provides natural and organic results and does not include any direct traffic or visitors to the website. The target set by SEO includes video search, image search, news search, academic search, and vertical searches, which tend to be industry-specific. 

While optimizing any website, one must keep in mind to edit the content it holds, modification of HTML, and adding appropriate content to the website. It is very significant to add associated code to the website, it helps in increasing its pertinence to the particular keyword, and it eliminates the barriers indexing activities.

In general, the white hat involves the relevant, authentic content, whereas the black hat is the unauthentic SEO strategy. 

White hat

Black hat

Black hat is the opposite of the white hat strategy. The content you will find here will be duplicate, stuffed keywords, irrelevant links. Similarly and references are what make this strategy go slow and run sprints. As we all know, there is always a way in between good and evil, similarly, there is a Grey hat strategy that involves some of the white and black hat strengths to bring traffic.  Now let us talk about the two broad categories of SEO, the off-page and the on-page. 

Off-page 

Offpage SEO depends upon the personal history of a content seeker, social networks, and the individual blogs of an industry. It is the variables at which Google will look while you search for something on the internet. 

On-page 

On-page SEO takes into consideration all the factors responsible for Google ranking, such as the structure of your page, headings, and content.  Also, on-page SEO involves the right selection of keywords, use of keywords, content freshness, title tag, Meta descriptions, schema, subheads, etc. they are the vital components of on-page SEO that will help your website to run marathons and make a good ranking on search engines. 

No doubt they are different but they have their, significance and both are the critical aspects of SEO to make a good balance on the website. SEO techniques are something that changes with trend day by day. It is essential to keep tactics in mind and work accordingly for the best results.
